Bres was a brief unusual leader of the Tuatha De Danann. His ruling was odd in that his mother was Tuatha and his father Fomorii. Bres later fought against the Firbolog at the first battle of Magh Tuireadh. Nuada was the leader, but due to his injured hand, Bres became the new leader. Bres became a tyrant and fled to his father's lands. He was later captured, and in return forhis life, he taught the Tuatha how to grow crops.
