Eros was the god of love and fertility. He was known to represent all of the strife and misery
that could be brought about by love and desire.

Depicted: Eros' Roman counterpart Cupid is usually depicted as a winged boy or fat baby. He is very often found blindfolded and carrying a bow and arrows to shoot his victims. Eros is very often pictured as the constant companion of Aphrodite.
