These were three female mosters that went by the names of Euryale, Stheno, and Medusa. The first
two sisters were immortal but Medusa was the only one that was not. Medusa was killed when the hero
Perseus came and chopped
off her head.
Depicted: The Gorgons were depicted as having female bodies, claws in the place of hands, and snakes in place of hair.
